From Azerbaijan to Zimbabwe, we bear witness to ancient cultures long separated from the mainstream Jewish world, some down to their final members.

Why We Exist

The global Jewish map is shifting. Today, 85% of Jews live in just two countries, the US and Israel. In corners of the world where Jewish life flourished for millennia, many communities have declined by 90% in a single generation.

We created Project Diaspora Expeditions because time is running out. We don't just visit monuments; we facilitate encounters with the people who have chosen to stay and sustain diaspora life against the odds.
